The villages around Lake Bohinj have a handful of restaurants and gostilne (inns) serving hearty Slovenian food — strukljji (rolled dumplings), zlikrofi (stuffed pasta), and grilled trout from local streams. Quality is generally high and prices are reasonable by Alpine standards. The best are in Stara Fuzina, a couple of minutes' walk from the lake itself.
