The Federico Garcia Lorca Museum preserves Huerta de San Vicente, the summer house where the poet spent time before his murder in 1936. It is one of Granada's most affecting literary sites because it keeps Lorca close to domestic rooms, garden light, and the city that shaped him.
The visit is quiet and compact, but it adds emotional depth to Granada beyond the Alhambra. Even travellers with only a passing knowledge of Lorca will feel the pull of twentieth-century Spanish history here.
