The first-floor apartment on Plaza de la Merced where Pablo Picasso was born on 25 October 1881. The family rooms have been recreated with period furniture and a few of the artist's earliest sketches; downstairs a small gallery rotates exhibitions of works on paper. It is a quick visit — half an hour — but worth pairing with the main Picasso Museum a few blocks away.
