Things to Do

Málaga's headline sights cluster on a single hill above the old town: the Moorish Alcazaba, the higher Gibralfaro Castle, and the Roman theatre at their feet. Add the Cathedral, the Picasso Museum, and a wander through the old centre and Soho district and you have a strong two- or three-day city visit. Beyond the museums, the city's pleasure is in the small things — climbing for the view, pausing at a tapas bar, drifting between plazas in the late-afternoon light.
