Parque La Batería occupies a hilltop on the western edge of Torremolinos that was formerly a military installation — the "batería" (battery) refers to the artillery position once stationed here. The park was created after the military left and now offers one of the best viewpoints over the bay, with good views towards Málaga and along the coast towards Marbella on clear days.
The park has fountains, manicured gardens, and a small lake, and it is popular with local families in the evenings. It is also a quieter alternative to the beach when you want green space and open views without the noise of the seafront. The walk up from La Carihuela takes about 15 minutes.
