The flat promenade connecting S'Arenal to Ca'n Pastilla — and continuing into Palma itself — is one of the best cycling routes on the island for non-cyclists. The path is traffic-free for most of its length, completely flat, and runs along the waterfront for around seven kilometres. Bike hire is available from several shops on the promenade and from a cycle share scheme with docking stations along the route.
The full ride from S'Arenal to Palma city centre takes about 40 minutes at a comfortable pace and ends near the Passeig Marítim, the city's main harbourfront boulevard. Going one way and returning by bus (the number 25 stops along the promenade) is a practical option if the return ride seems too long.
