Great Pulteney Street is Bath at its most orderly and Georgian: a broad, straight boulevard leading east from Pulteney Bridge toward the Holburne Museum. The uniform terraces, Laura Place fountain, and long view down the street make it one of the city's best short walks.
It works well as a gentle loop from the bridge, through Sydney Gardens, and back along the river. Film fans may also recognise it from the 2005 version of Vanity Fair.
