Leeds Town Hall is the city's great Victorian set piece, a huge classical building with a tower that still dominates the civic quarter. It was built as a statement of 19th-century confidence and remains one of the strongest architectural sights in central Leeds.
It is also a working concert venue, so check the programme if you want to see the interior at its best. Even from outside, it pairs neatly with Leeds Art Gallery and the nearby arcades.
