Burlington Performing Arts Centre

718-seat downtown theatre with a year-round live programme

The Burlington Performing Arts Centre, opened in 2011, is the city's main concert and theatre venue — a 718-seat main hall plus a 225-seat studio theatre, on Locust Street a block back from the waterfront. The programme runs to popular touring music, comedy, dance and local theatre, with some Toronto Symphony Orchestra and National Ballet of Canada dates each season.

The building is the focal point of the downtown arts cluster; the Art Gallery of Burlington and the Burlington Public Library are within a few minutes' walk. Tickets sell out for the bigger touring names but plenty of mid-week shows have day-of availability.
