Mount Nemo is a Conservation Halton park on the Niagara Escarpment above the northern edge of Burlington, with a long stretch of cliff face that drops about 25 metres straight down to second-growth forest. The clifftop trails lead to a series of fenced viewpoints with views back south across the Bruce Trail and out toward Lake Ontario on a clear day.
The escarpment cliffs here host one of the largest turkey vulture roosts in Ontario, particularly visible during the autumn migration in September and October. The park has a modest day-use fee, picnic tables and basic toilets. Combine with a stretch of the Bruce Trail for a half-day hike out of Burlington.
