Morelia's UNESCO-listed historic centre is the main draw, and you could spend several days wandering its pink stone streets without running out of things to see. The cathedral, aqueduct, and colonial palaces are the obvious highlights, but there's more depth here than the standard tour covers — excellent museums, neighbourhood plazas that fill up with local life on weekend evenings, and a strong craft and food culture rooted in Michoacan traditions.
