Christoffel National Park

Christoffel National Park protects the island's largest stretch of native dry forest and its highest point, 372-metre Christoffelberg. The summit trail is the main event: a steep, increasingly rocky climb with a short scramble near the top and a wide view over Bandabou and the sea.

Heat, not altitude, is the difficulty. Start when the park opens, carry plenty of water, and check the current cutoff time for beginning the summit trail. Easier driving and walking routes explore former plantation land, viewpoints, and habitat for the rare Curaçao white-tailed deer.
