Kokomo Beach

Kokomo Beach sits inside Vaersenbaai, a calm south-coast bay between Willemstad and the beaches farther west. It is a compact, sociable beach with a restaurant, loungers, a dive centre, and a jetty leading into clear water. The over-water swings are popular photo stops, but the sheltered swimming and easy facilities are the better reasons to come.

Entry is free, though loungers and services cost extra. Kokomo works well as a shorter stop from Willemstad or as the first beach on a west-coast drive; it feels busier and more organised than the small coves around Bandabou.
