Watamula Hole, at Curaçao's western tip, is an opening in the limestone shelf through which air and spray pulse as waves strike cavities below. The surrounding coast is stark and exposed, with broad sea views and none of the shelter found on the south coast.
The final road is rough and the site has no facilities. Keep well back from wet rock and cliff edges, particularly in strong surf; Watamula is a viewpoint, not a swimming place.
