Museo Tula

Museo Tula occupies Landhuis Kenepa, the plantation where enslaved workers began Curaçao's largest revolt on 17 August 1795. Led by Tula, the uprising spread across the west of the island and became a defining event in Curaçaoan history.

This is a small community museum in a place of memory, not a large collection of objects. A guided visit adds greatly to the experience, so confirm current opening and tour arrangements before making the long drive west.
