Landhuis Jan Kok

Landhuis Jan Kok is an 1840 plantation house overlooking the salt pans of Sint Willibrordus. Its terraces, high roof, surviving slave bell, and view across the former salt estate make it one of the more legible landhouses on the island.

The building now contains an art gallery, while nearby viewpoints look towards flamingo feeding grounds. Access depends on the gallery's current hours; even when the interior is closed, the salt-pan landscape makes the area worth including on a Bandabou drive.
