The Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival has been running since 1924, making it one of the oldest continuously operating music festivals in the United States. The Redlands Community Music Association presents 18 to 21 professional concerts each summer season, featuring symphonies, ballet, opera, jazz, and culturally diverse music and dance. All performances are free.
Shows begin at 8:15 PM each Tuesday and Friday evening from late June through the end of August. The outdoor amphitheater seats approximately 4,000 on benches, with the surrounding grassy area holding another 2,000. Seating is first come, first served -- bring a blanket or low chair for the lawn.
The Bowl is in the historic district of Redlands. There is a public parking lot at the corner of Citrus Avenue and Eureka Street, half a block north, and a parking structure on Citrus Avenue half a block east of Orange Street.
