Sapulpa Historical Museum

The local history museum occupies the former Frisco Railroad freight depot a block north of downtown Sapulpa. The collection is organised across two floors: the ground floor covers the founding of the city by the Creek (Mvskoke) trader Jim Sapulpa, the Glenpool oil boom of 1905, and the glass and pottery industries; the upper floor has rotating exhibits and a research archive.

The museum is run by volunteers and has limited hours — typically Tuesday through Saturday afternoons. Admission is free, donations welcome. The Frisco Depot itself is one of the better surviving railroad buildings in the area.
