Greenwood Cultural Center

Cultural centre preserving the history of Tulsa's Greenwood District and Black Wall Street

Greenwood Cultural Center is one of Tulsa's most important stops for understanding the Greenwood District, once known as Black Wall Street. Its exhibits and programmes address the neighbourhood's prosperity, the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, and the long work of remembrance and rebuilding.

Visit it with time and attention, not as a quick add-on between music venues. The centre gives moral and historical weight to a walk through Greenwood, and it helps connect nearby sites such as Reconciliation Park, the district streets, and the city's newer museums.
