River Parks is Tulsa's long linear park system along the Arkansas River, tying together trails, lawns, river overlooks, playgrounds, and public art. It is where the city goes to run, cycle, walk dogs, watch sunsets, and get some open space without leaving town.
The system connects naturally with Gathering Place and several pedestrian bridges, so it can be as casual or active as you want. Rent a bike or walk a short stretch in the evening; the river is broad and shallow, but the sense of space is one of Tulsa's best urban surprises.
