One of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world, spanning the Tennessee River between downtown and the North Shore. Built in 1891 and converted to pedestrian-only use in 1993. The walk across takes about ten minutes and offers good views of the river and the surrounding ridges. The North Shore end drops you on Frazier Avenue, with shops, restaurants, and Coolidge Park.
