Chattanooga's attractions split neatly between the riverfront downtown and Lookout Mountain to the southwest. You could spend a full day on each. The riverfront is flat and walkable; Lookout Mountain requires a car or the Incline Railway to reach, but once you are up there, Rock City and Ruby Falls are close together.
