Wadi Qnai is a granite valley south of Dahab, where an oasis, Bedouin gardens, and a quiet beach strip meet the Red Sea. It is a good choice for travellers who want the Dahab landscape without staying right in town.
The area is used for hiking, rock climbing, and shore-based snorkelling or diving. Reefs and coral blocks offshore are generally less crowded than the better-known sites near central Dahab.
