A handsome British-era court building from 1898, with whitewashed walls, deep verandahs, sash windows and a clocktower at its centre. It still serves as the District Court of Chittagong and is one of the most photographed colonial-era buildings in the city.
The grounds are open during court hours, though the security can be variable about photography. The building is in the central administrative area and a useful navigation point for the old commercial quarter.
