Ningbo Banking Guild Hall

Ningbo Banking Guild Hall was once a guild hall for bankers and foreign exchange dealers, a trade that mattered in a port city with deep foreign-commerce ties. After the banks closed in 1949, the building eventually found a second life as a coin museum.

It is a good small stop for visitors interested in Ningbo's mercantile history and the institutions that supported its trade.
