A 250-year-old stepwell in the heart of the old city, restored in the 2010s after decades of being used as a dump. The geometric drop of carved sandstone steps disappearing into green water is one of the most photogenic spots in Jodhpur. Surrounding it is a small cluster of cafes and design shops -- a good break between bazaar dives.
