The Floating Market at Lembang is touristy, but it works. Set around a small artificial lake about 16km north of Bandung, the market has vendors in flat-bottomed boats serving Indonesian dishes (siomay, batagor, kue, bakso, grilled corn) that you pay for with wooden coins bought at the gate. The setting — water lilies, surrounding hills, families on paddle boats — is genuinely pleasant.
Behind the market are small thematic add-ons (a kampung-themed area, a Japanese-style garden) that vary in interest. Best treated as a 90-minute stop on the way to or from Tangkuban Perahu. Open daily; busiest on Saturdays and Sundays.
