Located about 25 kilometers south of the city, Lok Kawi is Sabah's main zoo and wildlife park. Pygmy elephants, orangutans, proboscis monkeys, and Sumatran rhinos are among the residents. A botanical garden and a children's playground are on site. Take the local bus to Lok Kawi town then hire a cab to reach the park entrance; agree on a return pickup time before your driver leaves.
