Des Pardes is one of the two main restaurants in the restored Saidpur Village. It occupies a complex of old village houses around courtyards strung with lanterns; the dining tables sit on raised platforms under wooden balconies. The menu is broadly subcontinental — biryani, karahi, kebabs, a particularly good lamb chop — with a respectable selection of Mughlai dishes.
The food is good rather than exceptional; the setting is the main attraction. Best in the cooler months when you can eat outside under the trees. Booking advisable at weekends.
