A long-standing Afghan restaurant in the Jinnah Super Market — chapli kebab, mantu dumplings, Kabuli pulao and the trademark Afghan bread baked in a tandoor by the entrance. Among the older eating houses in the market, opened in the 1980s when Islamabad's Afghan refugee community first started to grow.
The Afghan-style chicken tikka, roasted slowly over coals, is the signature dish. Sit in the back room rather than the street-facing area to avoid the worst of the traffic noise.
