Khyber Pass is a Pashtun restaurant in Saidpur Village specialising in the heavy meat dishes of the north-west: chapli kebab, mutton ribs grilled over open charcoal, namkeen gosht (literally "salted meat" — lamb cooked with nothing but salt and its own fat). The terrace looks out over the village rooftops to the Margalla Hills.
The dining room is set up for a long, slow meal — Pashtun cuisine is not in a hurry. The chapli kebab here is some of the best in Islamabad.
