Known to almost everyone in Puerto Princesa simply as the Crocodile Farm, this is a working captive-breeding programme for the endangered Philippine freshwater crocodile, plus a small zoo with native pythons, bearcats, palm civets and the Palawan peacock-pheasant. The breeding tanks of saltwater and freshwater crocs are the main attraction; visitors are taken through on a short guided tour.
It is about 30 minutes by tricycle north of the centre. The conservation work is real; the gift shop, less so. You can hold a small crocodile for a photograph if that's your thing.
