Las Cabanas Beach

A short kilometre south of El Nido town, Las Cabanas Beach is the closest properly nice stretch of sand to the centre — a curve of white sand looking west across the Bacuit Bay, perfect for sunset. A row of beach bars (most famously the Maremegmeg and the Sava) sets up loungers and serves drinks until the last of the light goes.

Tricycle from town is five minutes. The currents offshore can be deceptively strong, so swim near the bars, not at the empty ends of the beach.
