Xianjiyan is a short hill trail above Jingmei, with paved paths, stairways, a small temple, and views over southern Taipei. Visitors also come to see a footprint said to have been left by the Taoist deity Lu Dongbin.
The trail network is well marked and lit at night, so it works for an evening walk or sunset view, though the climb up is steep in places.
