Sayyid Ibrahim Shrine and Imamzadeh Shia Mosque is a Shiite shrine on the eastern side of Samarkand, associated with Sayyid Ibrahim ibn Musa al-Kazim, a son of the seventh Imam. Its interior is closer in feel to Shiite shrines in Iran and Iraq than to Samarkand's better-known Timurid monuments.
It is a good stop for travellers who have already seen the Registan, Shah-i-Zinda, and Bibi-Khanym and want a broader sense of Samarkand's religious life.
