Bradleys Head

Harbour headland with skyline views, bush tracks, and naval memorials near Taronga Zoo

Bradleys Head is one of Sydney Harbour’s great low-effort rewards: a wooded headland with open views back to the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and city skyline. It sits near Taronga Zoo, so it is easy to combine with a ferry ride and a harbour walk.

The headland also has military relics and memorials, but the main reason to linger is the composition of water, sandstone, eucalypts, and skyline. It feels close to the city and removed from it at the same time, which is very Sydney.
