Busselton is a seaside town in Western Australia's southwest, about two and a half hours south of Perth. Its main attraction is the Busselton Jetty — at 1.8 km, the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. A small train runs to the end, where an underwater observatory lets you watch the marine life that has colonised the pylons.
The town is a popular family holiday destination and a convenient base for exploring the Margaret River wine region, the karri forests around Pemberton, and the beaches of Geographe Bay.
