Prospector's Trail is a short route near Laanila that links Saariselka's outdoor life with the area's gold-mining history. The path leads past old mining ground and a mine hut before joining the wider trail network of Urho Kekkonen National Park.
In winter the route is used as a ski track. In summer it is an easy way to add a little local history to a walk through the fells and forest.
