A late Gothic church on the western edge of the old centre, with a high lantern tower and a particularly fine set of 16th-century stained glass windows in the apse. Less visited than the cathedral but architecturally more cohesive, since it was built in a single concentrated period and not stretched over three centuries.
The neighbourhood around the church is the working district of medieval Tours, where the silk weavers lived. A wander west along Rue de la Riche from the Place Plumereau will take you past several preserved 15th- and 16th-century houses and end at Notre-Dame-la-Riche.
