The most picturesque corner of Mykonos Town, where 18th-century captains' houses overhang the sea at the southwest end of the harbour. The balconies were originally built for quick loading and unloading during the piracy era. Today the waterfront buildings house sunset bars and restaurants, and the area is at its most magical in the golden hour before dark.
