Panagia is one of Thassoss most attractive inland villages, set above the east coast with stone houses, narrow lanes, and water running through old channels and springs. It gives the island a different texture from beaches and ancient ruins.
Come for a slow wander, a meal, and a cooler break from the coast. It pairs naturally with Golden Beach or the archaeological sights around Thassos Town, but it is worth lingering long enough to let the village pace take over.
