Scala Prinos is a low-key beach area on the northwest coast of Thassos, with long sandy stretches, shallow water, and a scattering of beach bars. It is less showy than Golden Beach or Paradise Beach, which is part of the appeal.
Come here if you want a simple beach day without driving to the island's more photographed coves. Outside the main season the beaches are much quieter, and some stretches are used informally for nude bathing.
