Demetrius Tower is one of Szeged's oldest surviving structures. Its lower sections are Romanesque, with later Gothic additions, making it a compact reminder of the medieval city that mostly disappeared after the great flood of 1879.
It stands close to the Votive Church and is easiest to see as part of a walk around Dom Square.
