The National Theatre of Szeged is the city's main theatre and one of its landmark public buildings. Built in 1883 by the firm of Fellner and Helmer, it mixes Eclectic and Neo-Baroque detail in the grand Central European theatre style.
Even if you are not seeing a performance, it is worth a look while walking the central streets near the Tisza.
