The Parish Church of San Cataldo is one of Erice's old Gothic churches, documented in the 14th century and later rebuilt with 18th-century stucco decoration. Its three naves and layered interior make it more than a quick facade stop.
It is not the town's grandest church, but it fits naturally into a walk through Erice's stone lanes and religious buildings.
