Sella Ronda

The Sella Ronda is the famous loop around the Sella massif, linking the four valleys of Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, Alta Badia, and Arabba via four mountain passes (Pordoi, Sella, Gardena, Campolongo). You can ski it in either direction — orange clockwise, green counter-clockwise — covering about 26 km of pistes and 14 km of lifts in roughly six hours.

In summer, the same route is a popular cycling and motorcycling tour. From Canazei, the natural start is the Pradel lift to Passo Pordoi, the highest of the four passes.

A story
The Sella Ronda is the only ski circuit in the world that crosses four mountain passes and three regions in a single day, all without needing a lift ticket from more than one resort. In peak weeks it draws around twenty thousand skiers a day — set off early so you don't get stuck queueing at the lower lifts in the afternoon.
