Located at the tip of the Curonian Spit at Smiltyne, reachable by the 5-minute ferry from Klaipeda. The museum occupies a 19th-century Prussian fortress and has aquariums showing Baltic and tropical marine life, outdoor pools with seals and sea lions, a dolphinarium, and displays on the history of Lithuanian seafaring.
