Konoba Ćatovića Mlini is a 30-minute drive north of Kotor along the bay to the village of Morinj, but it is the best fish restaurant in the entire Boka and worth the trip. The setting is a working old watermill, with tables on a wooden deck above a clear stream that runs down to the sea, ducks swimming past your feet.
The menu is straightforward: fresh fish bought daily, grilled whole and priced by the kilo; the family's own olive oil; their own wine. A long lunch under the plane trees with a swim afterwards is one of the best meals in Montenegro. Book ahead for weekends. Mains €25–40; expect to spend €60+ a head on a relaxed lunch.
