Madame Tussauds Amsterdam is the local branch of the famous wax museum chain, right on Dam Square. It mixes international celebrities with Dutch figures, which gives this branch a little more local flavour than the name might suggest.
Expect a tourist attraction: queues, staged photo moments, and a steep entry price. Families and pop-culture fans may enjoy it; travellers short on time will usually find more Amsterdam in the streets outside.
