De Hemelse Berg

De Hemelse Berg is a wooded estate near Oosterbeek, bought in 1848 by the writer Johannes Kneppelhout. He reshaped the grounds and used the estate as a meeting place for artists he supported.

The manor was lost during the fighting around Arnhem in 1944, but the park remains a quiet place for a walk, with old estate features and traces of its cultural history.
